The happy employee: less stressed, fewer sick days taken, lower rate of disability leaves, balanced workload.
The unhappy worker: unengaged, takes twice as many sick days, more inclined to presenteeism, overburdened with work.
The bottom line: having happy, engaged and health employees can save a company money. A work environment that promotes well being is not only good for employees, it's good for business.
